Do This for Motivation to Focus on Your Dreams

Sharing is caring!

Do you ever have so many ideas that it’s hard to focus on one thing at a time?

I have this ALL the time! I blame my creative spirit for always coming up with new and exciting ideas, making it hard to focus on my dreams. If I’m going to be successful though, I need to keep my motivation through to the end. Which means I’m going to have to remain focused without any added distractions.

This may seem difficult for you, especially if you also have a lot of ideas spinning in your head. But I have found a solution! You are going to want to add this to your office to focus on your dreams.

Do One Thing to Focus on Your Dreams

Do This for Motivation to Focus on Your Dreams:

Decide what your motivation is.

I’m a constant list maker whenever I have a LOT to do. There’s something about visually seeing everything written out on paper that keeps me motivated to complete my whole to do list. It’s probably because people are visual by nature.

This doesn’t mean you need to run out and make a vision board for your office–even though I do have a great article all about creating your own vision board. This is a more simple motivation piece. I want you to think of quotes or a motto you use that motivate you. THIS is what you’re going to need in front of you all day.

Hang it within your sight.

I recently did this in my office to help me focus. I framed three motivational posters above my monitor so that I can read them throughout the day. It’s especially helpful when I’m experiencing a moment of writer’s block or lack of inspiration. Once I read the words, I can refocus back on my project.

Think of a place in your office that your eyes are always drawn to. This is where you will want to hang your quote or motto to focus on your dreams all day. You can be as fancy as you want with the framing, or simple with a simple taped poster. You can also limit it to one quote or motto, or hang a few like I did.

Here’s an example of my little office inspiration.

I purchased my motivational posters in the $1 bin at Target, and they are PERFECT for my office theme. If you don’t want to spend any money, check out Pinterest to find free printable posters that you can use.

Once you get your posters hung up, then you will be able to keep your focus on your dreams all day!
